PRE CONSULTATION

 

Blay Builders takes an approach to consultations differently, we begin by gathering information to understand you and your intentions for your build.

If you give us a call or send us an email, after our initial conversation, our first step is for you to submit an online questionnaire. This is a necessary part of our process as it allows us to get some of the most important questions answered, so we can establish what it is you wish to build and if it is a project that we can bring to life for you.

This helps us, help you.

SITE VISIT

 

Once we have established a solid connection and know that we are going to work collaboratively together, we will progress to meeting you on your block to complete a site visit. Meeting you on site gives us more clarity on your property's potential and we gather a vision of what we can custom build to optimise the use of the blocks angles and views and orientation. Plus this is relaxing way to meet and discuss design ideas.

If you don't own a block yet and are in the process of finding the dream land for you, we can assist in a way you may not have considered. Here at Blay we are very open and honest about the finer details that come with building, and knowing what can be hidden in the ground that you may not realise. We have strong knowledge on conducting site analysis and therefore we do offer this service for a small fee of completing a 'Pre Purchase Land Inspection'. 

The purpose of this service is to give you more clarity on the land you will be purchasing, what challenges you may be faced with when it comes time to build and a range of other useful factors that you might not have even been aware of. 

DESIGN

 

You will find this experience very different from what is considered the ‘norm’ in designing and constructing a new home.

We have a team of design professionals who will work collaboratively in creating a home exactly how YOU want it. We wont tell you how it has to be! Your Home, Your Way.

This stage can be very overwhelming for some people. So we want to take that stress out of it. You can be as involved as you like, or sit back and watch it all come together.

​

We can evolve and refine the design together; move walls around, change windows, play with different roof lines and your facades. Spend time at our Cabinet Makers showroom and their design team to help bring that dream kitchen to life.

​

The Blay Builders Showroom has all of our inclusions set up and ready for you to check out. Can't quite decide what you want, or what more to choose from – we will arrange it for you. The choice is endless.

If Cooking appliances are your thing – let us arrange a cooking demonstration for you using the appliances so you can make sure it is exactly what you want. Lets call it ‘Try before you buy’!

Lets get some 3D drawings created of your home. This will help you visualise what the exterior is going to look like.

We can even do 3D walk through’s of the interior of your home.

CONSTRUCTION

 

Now the exciting part – when you actually see something happening on your block of land.

​

You will have a dedicated Project Manager for the entire construction of your home. They will keep you up to speed with the progress of your build, answer any questions and notify you of anything you need to know.

​

They can organise site visits and walk throughs of your home whilst in construction, ensure the build is running to schedule. The project manager will be ever present on site – ensuring the highest quality of build is achieved with each of our contractors.

​

We  are innovators at Blay Builders. We have an online customer communication portal we use. You will be kept up to date with progress, schedules, and progression photos. We take drone pictures and videos which are uploaded to you, so you can be as involved and informed as possible. 

So whether you are living here in East Gippsland, or on the other side of the world – you will know exactly what is going on with your build the whole time!

HANDOVER

 

Once construction is in its final stages we do a pre handover where you can go through your new home with the project manager to ensure all aspects are as you expected. From here our team will reassure all details are to the highest of Blay Builders quality before handing over the keys.
